The Safety Plus series, provided by CITB, consists of courses that enable professionals in building, civil engineering, and associated sectors to advance their competencies and ensure a safer working environment.
Successful candidates then apply for their HGV licence (Category C for rigid lorries, C+E for articulated/combination vehicles). Training is usually intensive, often taking a few weeks, and is provided by accredited driving schools. It equips drivers with the essential skills for a professional career in logistics and transport.
